Amal Perera reports to Kosgoda police

Popular singer Amal Perera who came with his lawyers to the Kosgoda police station made a statement on the missing albino turtle issue a short while ago, police said.

A rare species of albino turtle claimed to be worth over Rs.40 million was been stolen from a private turtle hatchery and research centre Kosgoda last Sunday night. (News and pix by Hemantha de Silva)

    Why can't the renowned Sri Lanka Police take him to custody since it is publicized he is a suspect. Why run around the bush for well over a couple of days since it went missing??
