The Teachers-Principals Joint Alliance today decided not to report to schools on Thursday (21) and Friday (22), but to report for duty from Monday (25), Teachers Principals Joint Alliance
Addressing the media today, they said although schools will reopen this Thursday (21), the decision was taken to prevent teachers and principals from working in schools with fewer than 200 students as per decision by the government.
However, the teachers and principals will report to schools and continue with their normal duties, simultaneously engaging in the trade union actions.
It has been planned to engage in several rallies and stage protests across the country on October 21 and 22. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
