This is a sign of how voting happens in the country. The voters vote based on looks and other superficial reasons, without any idea about what candidates stand for. The SJB itself was created with bad motivations. Anyone that supports any Premadasa in anyway, even former presidents wife to live lavishly like a queen is doing themselves a disservice, and mildest for such supporters is that they are delusional.

Politicians know that our voters are a herd of cattle and use them. The voters vote not knowing how they are manipulated. Universal Franchise in SL is a joke. Vote should be for O Level or higher and those who are taxpayers. Anything free offered by politicos to get votes is taxpayers money.
