Two soldiers killed in head-on collision

Two soldiers were killed when a motorcycle they were travelling in collided head-on with a bus at Damanayaya in Bakamuna this morning.

Police said the 27-year-old motorcycle rider and 28-year-old pillion rider died on admission to the Bakamuna Hospital.

They were identified as residents of Lunugala and Halthota.

The driver of the bus has been arrested over the accident.
