Two accomplices of organized criminal Uragaha Indika who is operating from abroad, have been killed in a shootout with Police Special Task Force (STF) officers at Polwatta in Minuwangoda.
Police said the STF officers had carried out a raid in Minuwangoda to arrest the suspects wanted over the murder of a man and his 4-year-old child in Yakkalamulla on October 19.
The suspects Milan Kosala alias Junda and Gamage Diluka alias Mula, residents of Poddala were killed during a shooting with the STF. A STF personnal who was also injured in the shooting was admitted to Minuwangoda Hospital for treatment.
The STF also recovered a T-56 type firearm, a 12-bore weapon and a Rambo type knife.
The Minuwangoda Police is investigating. (DSB)

In a way good. Somehow there will be a loophole in the law and they will be free and will start hunting down the rest of the people who they had clash with. Wishing the same for their next of kin!
