The third coal power plant in Norochcholai has been fixed and connected back to the national grid, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.
He said the power plant unit one and three are operating at full capacity. The unit one of the power plant was back to operation after it was shut down for maintenance, he said.
The power plant unit two is expected to be completed in mid October, the minister added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

We believe, after the completion of the project, the general public will face more hours of extended power shedding about 10 hours.
