The STF has conducted 158 raids to seize Kerala cannabis so far this year and captured 696 kg of marijuana to the value of over Rs. 90 million with the latest arrest on Monday.
The STF seized a total of 105 kg of Kerala cannabis smuggled from India into via the Kattalampitiya lagoon area in the Illuppukadavai in Mannar on Monday.
The seized contraband was handed over to the Illuppukadavai Police for further investigations.
The STF had also arrested 162 suspects during those raids since January this year until this date.(DSB)
