Whoever or whatever they are, they should not be intimidated by politicians, businessmen, and organisations!

This is good if it’s implemented in proper manner to save whatever is left in our forests. D

Well, anything that prevent deforestation is welcome. In my opinion, President should oversee this Long Range STF tasks or get their reports directly. Time is running out. Sinharaja is being raped, Sigiriya land grabbings at full throttle, Thalangama and Knuckles Mountain Range facing road constructions.... Finally, our country owes big time to Devanee Jayathilaka, Gampaha Division Assistant Conservator of Forests for saving the last and only remaining Sri Lanka Legume tree from felling by the developers!

Again military in civilian activity. When is SL going to learn, especially when UNHRC resolution is hanging over the head.

Because of Military only, today there is a country for Sri Lankans.

We can call STF, MTF, ATF or even just plain STAFF of the wildlife. As long as the laws are allowed to be broken and there are no mechanisms to ensure and support these Police forces at the highest levels, this will become a another drama. Sri Lanka is known as a lawless paradise.

Hope Gota won't fail now, we do not expect to hear any kind of deforestation, illegal mining, by anyone in the country
