The story appears to be slightly changed from the previous shootings, ''killed try to grab the weapon from the policeman'' version. It clearly shows how incapable our policemen are to investagte a crime. When it cover up the crimes, they ae master of disguise-Eg. Thajudeen Case.

They always try to say that the Police are at fault and those persons who cause ciaos are sympathized with forgetting the human rights of those leading a proper ethical lives who a majority. Police will protect us from those druggies and the underworld.

If you are troubled by this news, then imagine similar actions, enlarged thousand times, happening to the Tamil civilians in the North and East in the 80s and 90s ,at the hands of the Sri Lankan Army, Sri Lankan Police, and the dreaded Indian Army.

Death of anyone while at police custody should be the responsibility of police by default. Such incidents should be thoroughly investigated by parties not at conflict of interest. This kind of stupid statements by police should never be accepted. Legal systems in Sri Lanka should be overhauled to match western standards. That Will be the starting point towards all development. It is of utmost importance to remove all the old style politicians and make them to retire by force. It might also be a good idea to remove the voting rights from everyone over 70 years....that will be same as everyone cannot vote upto 18.
