SLPP PS member tied to lamp post for harassing residents in Galpatha

A Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Panadura Pradeshiya Sabha member who had been harassing the residents of Galpatha under influence of alcohol has been tied to a lamp post by a group of residents in the area.

Police said that the PS member had come to the Galpatha area with a group of others to consume alcohol.

The PS member reportedly left the group and had   behaved in an indecent manner harassing the residents of Bahurupola area in Galpatha.

Then the residents had tied him to a lamp post and was handed over to the Kalutara (North) police.

The suspect is to be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate's Court today.

    This is an excellent start. The people had follow these examples and NEVER tolerate such unnecessary and idiotic behaviour by any minister or MP.
