A Sub Inspector of Police attached to the Police Narcotic Bureau (PNB) at the Bandaranaike International Airport, has been arrested for possessing 15 rounds of ammunition used in a T-56 firearm.
Police said the ammunition were found in Sub Inspector's belongings at the BIA arrival terminal while reporting to duties from his barracks.
The SI was remanded till March 1 after being produced in court.
