President hints new cabinet by May 01

President Maithripala Sirisena said a new cabinet would likely be appointed before May 01.

He expressed these views at a religious ceremony held at the Walagamba Maha Pirivena Viharaya in Dambulla on Friday (27).

He said after the new cabinet, the wishes of the Venerable Theras would come true. (Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa)

is there any other country in the world, which keeps changing, tinkering with the cabinet, ministers other than Sri Lanka so frequently????? if anyone out there knows please share.... we are soo busy doing these work, except the development of the country!!!

It seems to me that our President is frequently talking about cabinet reshuffles (although he failed to carry out his own part) to be popular again following the trashing he had at the local government elections. Everyone needs to look at the big picture, of developing the country and energising and motivating people for that, instead of always talking about cabinet changes, fences and other little things.

The Govt should run similar to a company and should penalize or fire based on performance. No matter how many times they reshuffle the cabinet... it still has underperforming MPs in it.
