Three Fundamental Rights petitions filed challenging the legality of the Presidential Pardon granted to former Parliamentarian Duminda Silva were today fixed for argument by Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court fixed the petitions to be taken up for argument on November 17.
On May 31, the Supreme Court issued an Interim Order directing the CID to place Duminda Silva under the custody of prisons with immediate effect.
The Court also issued an Interim Order impounding Duminda Silva's passport. The Court has already granted leave to proceed with these applications in terms of Article 12(1) of the constitution. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

But all those who did more cold blood murder such as Lasantha, Raviraj, Ekneligoda, Trincomalee students, Thajudeen are free and even in parliament.

You find evidence and maybe things can move forward to convict those who committed the crimes! When Premalal Jayasekara was acquitted of murder the Court of Appeal found "there was no evidence in the Ratnapura High Court that the accused were in possession of firearms or that they had fired" There was of course something like what Ranjan Ramanayaka used to say before he was imprisoned for saying it happening with the courts!

MS was added as a respondent in a similar situation and GR must be added as respondent in this matter. GR exhibited his arrogance by giving him a pardon and appointing him to a top Admin position. I beg for the SC to make a direction for the authorities to investigate the Lasantha, Thajudeen, Ekneligoda and other murder cases

Ranjan Rsmanauaka had personal vendetta with Duminda silva, so RR tried to manipulate the judgement through high court judge Padmini promising her a place in supreme courts through influencing the president, this too must be considered and need to show that being judge is not a reason to punish wrongdoers

@Sinna So seems you say Ranjan Ramanayake saying judiciary is corrupt is most true with your saying his hand was in with it too. I think I believe Ranjan the bachelor more than Duminda Silva who is a known thug.
