The gas shipments that are scheduled to arrive in the country next week would be sufficient only for three days, the Litro Gas Company said.
They said 3, 600 MT gas stock would be received by April 27. If the required dollars were provided by the government, there is a possibility of receiving a gas shipment once every three days, the company said.
"However, the company incurred a loss of Rs. 20 billion last year and is currently incurring a loss of Rs. 250 million per day," it said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

When I was small, our parents never used any Gas for cooking. We had plenty of firewood, wood waste to fire the stoves.
