Former Minister Mervin Silva said he was expecting Pastor Jerome Fernando who is currently overseas to come to Negombo to get him hammered or knocked by his men.
Addressing the media, Silva said people like Jerome should be expelled from the country for instilling hatred and communal disharmony.
"Jerome had been getting a large amount of dollars. Besides, people who make public statements like him are also getting dollars from foreign countries," he said.
He also alleged that the sister of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is also a follower of Jerome and added certain politicians are also his followers.
"The loyalty of certain politicians including Sajith Premadasa towards Jerome is evident with their stance of being silent in the sequence of events associated with Jerome," he added. (Sheain Fernandopulle)

This guy needs to be arrested for making threats, Jerome made stupid statements, but I believe people have a right to their own opinions, to assault or murder someone for such a thing isn't the Buddhist thing to do, such hypocrisy, Buddhism has been corrupted by selfish monks and politicians trying for votes, even people do evil stuff to people or animals then watch pirrith or go temple like their saints
