A video is circulating on social media where motorists in the vicinity of Town Hall, Colombo expressed their anger and protested by continuously honking on their horns on Tuesday night after rush hour traffic was brought to a standstill to make way for a VIP movement.

The video showing motorists honking on their horns and flashing headlights to express their anger, when the police had sealed off roads to make way for the VIP motorcade of the visiting Chinese Defense Minister to pass by.

Do not take this as a joke or nonsense. There is a continuous tension growing in the people. Usually a volcano emits smoke before it erupts. The Govt. has to start implementing law in common to everybody without anomalies and exceptions. Otherwise a sudden revolt of the people will be unavoidable.
