The motion submitted by the United National Front (UNF) to curtail funds to the Cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and state ministers, was passed in parliament with 122 MPs voting for it.
There was no vote cast against the motion since the government MPs boycotted the parliament session.
The motion was presented by MP Patali Champika Ranawaka.

I think I can give my one month salary Rs. 50, 000 to any ministers ooooooppppppps sorry, all the ministers have plenty of dollars in their account, so why they worry about their salary. Pin padi .
