The job title "Government servant" title is most appropriate,because they always serve the government in power and not the public who pay them their salaries by taxes.The word "Government slave" is more likely.Give them more and more holidays as they are so exhausted in serving the public and to spend the money taken as bribes.

This is the result of PUNY SMALL MINDED officials want to bloat to the public how they are "good at their work"!!?? The system for ages have been that statutory holidays, believe amounting to 15/16 per year in the WORK CALENDAR!? Hence designated have additional holiday, IN LIEU (conforming to remuneration package) when it falls on a non-working day – another Statutory Holiday/nonworking week-end – as compensation!!! Saturday (half day as IT WAS HALF WORKING DAY UNTIL 1974 “FUEL CRISIS” and made longer working hours Monday to Friday – conserve fuel, during Sirimavo/NMP time) and Sunday (Full day) day off either following such weekend!!!? NOW BLACK MAGIC FOR THE NEWLY EMANCIPATED!!!??

Government printer forgot to print the calendar 2022 end of the previous year (December 2021 - probably due to Covid-19) WHAT FOR THE TELLING!!!??? THESE ‘GENIOUS MEDIOCRITY’ called PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION GURUS/HIERARCHY – EACH OF THEM WITH EQUIPPED AT PUBLIC EXPENSE WITH PLANNER OR A REPUTED COMPUTER!! MAHA MOLA KARU OR ADIKARU!!!???

When a Public holiday falls on a Saturday/Sunday the following Monday is a holiday in lieu. We know that at the start of the year, not 3 days before Christmas.
