A man was arrested with 40 kg of heroin which has a street value of Rs.400 million during a raid at Rerukana in Bandaragama early this morning.
The suspect was arrested during a raid carried out by the Colombo Police Narcotics Bureau and the Kalutara Division Crimes unit.
Police Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana said it is learnt that the drug ring is being operated from the UAE. (DSB)

40KG cannot be transported easily. He must have got a 100Kg consignment and only 40Kg left. But Police will not follow to the top and check all the details of the full local operation but just put the blame on Dubai. Pur drama only.
