The Lanka IOC today announced that they have decided not to issue fuel to cans, containers, or bottles with immediate effect.
However, they stated that fuel will only be pumped directly into vehicle fuel tanks.
They said the decision was taken to ensure the safety of the public and property. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

This ban....you wonderful people are imposing..... I don't think those ugly brains of yours ever stopped to think..... a daily wage earner like a grass cutter for example...how would he collect a bit of petrol for his grass cutter? If not a can or a bottle.....then how? Borrow from his neighbor's car?
