Kottawa exit on E01 closed until further notice

The Kottawa Exit point on the Southern Expressway (E01) would be closed from 6 a.m. today until further notice except for busses and ambulances.

Road Development Authority said the decision was taken after three Covid-19 cases were reported at the Kottawa Interchange.

The Expressway users are instructed to use Aturugiriya and Kahatuduwa Exit Points.

"Vehicles are allowed to enter the expressway from the Kottawa Interchange but tickets would not be issued, the RDA said.
