Nine persons who were arrested yesterday for hosting a party at the Crescat Monarch luxury apartment complex in Kollupitiya violating quarantine laws, have been ordered to undergo home quarantine, the area PHI said.
He said that the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) has instructed them to direct the attendees to home quarantine for 14-days for violating quarantine regulations.
The Kollupitiya Police arrested nine persons including two foreigners and three women while hosting the party near the swimming pool in the roof top of the complex.
The suspects were granted bail on Rs 1 million personal bail each after being produced before the Fort Magistrate's Court.
It was reported that members of three apartments in the complex attended the party. The PHI said they were directed for home quarantine as no outsiders were attended the party.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
