I can remember the time when we bought cassettes to record music etc. That era disappeared with the coming of the CD and now MP3 format. In Sri Lanka we are now in a era of gazettes, NICE.

The Government is like a පෙට්ටි කඩේ. robbed the people with the gas. where is that professor who lied saying the gas price was reduced. screwed the people by robbing 2.5 kgs

Kingsley Wijesinhe Thursday, 10 June 2021 06:07 AM

Litro is a government owned company. Was this whole drama of the "new" cylinder done to benefit a private LPG company close to the government?

    Sunil Thursday, 10 June 2021 06:18 AM

Litro, the state owned gas company is taking the entire nation for a ride. Even the minister is helpless as he does not have a backbone to take appropriate action.

    FG Thursday, 10 June 2021 07:05 AM

Consumer affairs should take action and finish it in a day, not allow people to pay more for gas, this is day light robbery just like from the top.

Gazette issuing!! Huh!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Another instance of Gov't incompetence. !! Yeah!!

    Shan Thursday, 10 June 2021 08:01 AM

Reduce the price by at least Rs.100/= and see the fun. Unless the top is playing a fast buck as usual.

Open the local market to all international companies.
