Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today informed parliament that the Attorney General had requested him not to table the report of the forensic audit on the Central Bank bond scam in parliament.
He said the AG had asked not to do so on the basis that there was an ongoing case on the bond scam with more cases likely to be filed on this matter in the future.
The Speaker said the AG had made this request when he sought his advice on tabling the report in the wake of requests made by several MPs at the previous parliamentary session. (By Ajith Siriwardana and Yohan Perera)

Biasness is unlimited in this country. We saw it, see it, and will see it. Until such time corrupted politicians in power will never see end to it.
