The Power and Energy Ministry today released the status of the existing stock of fuel at Kolonnawa and Muthurajawela terminals.
Accordingly, 17,077 MT of diesel, 1,072 MT of Super Diesel, 37,391 MT of Octane 92 petrol, 6,142 MT of Octane 95 petrol, and 2,437 MT of JET A1 fuel in hand.
Subject Minister Kanchana Wijesekera today said that crude oil from a freighter is currently being unloaded.
A freighter carrying a cargo of diesel scheduled to sail into the country tomorrow, he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
