A Deputy Principal of Ambalangoda Dharmashoka Vidyalaya was shot at by unidentified gunmen, at Randombe, Police said.

The principal was on his way to work on his motorcycle when he was shot at, Police said.

He managed to come to the Ambalangoda police on his motorcycle with gunshot injuries. (D.G. Sugathapala)

Each day about 10 such horrific incidents occur in Sri Lanka now. Tourism being one of the three top revenue sources, who in their right mind would want to visit here, on top of hotels with sky high rates, low quality food ahd transport ?
