The name seems to suggest an affiliation to a religion that doesn't value the life of women very much.

    Lankan Friday, 23 July 2021 08:58 AM

How about you show this affiliation, where it says and what it says would be great so we all can learn too. If not it would be a bit unfair to make such an allegation.

Immediately take measures to stop sending our mothers and sisters as domestic servants to middle east countries. Open local job opportunities for our people. Ban all types of domestic servants in our country.

Was this father-in-law arrested under charges of rape? If so, he is a very capable man. Looks as though this whole clan had a gala time abusing girls enjoying their status under a government that turned a blind eye to these nefarious activities. Deal with them very harshly.

If anyone has committed a crime against those vulnerable and underprivileged members of our society, they must be punished. At the same time, we see that those who have committed crimes and are punished by the judicial system could end up at very high positions of government organizations. What a system!

    Grace Friday, 23 July 2021 10:41 AM

Sajith should come forward to comfort in this difficult hour of Rishad

Jayasiri Deshabandu Friday, 23 July 2021 05:57 PM

May our leaders have the brains to see that we can stop this kind of child abuse or rape by using a clever procedure or sufficient laws. For example there must be a law that requires domestic servants be registered with the police in the area. The police can check the IDs and other details to protect the workers. Employers who hire domestic servants must open bank accounts for their workers and transfer money to their bank account. The government must have a law requiring a minimum salary for domestic workers. Police should visit each home or the time to time that no workers are abused. It will be a good merit to save children whatever religion you may have. This is not an isolated incident.

    Cugan Friday, 23 July 2021 06:18 PM

Also find out how he managed to get a house in col-7 Take action against the medical staffs they should have alert the police when admitted in the hospital,if she would have survived......there are sexual abuse ....
