Samples of the substandard coconut oil consignments imported to Sri Lanka have failed a second test, Director General Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI), Dr Siddhika Senaratne said.

Cheap Coconut oil, Cheap Fertilizer are causing cancer . Private sector is interested in pure profits and those in successive governments are being bought by them with money.

Why in the world we importing Coconut Oil when we have tonnes of coconut produced locally? This is beyond my belief.
