UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa in a twitter post said that the Government must conduct an immediate inquiry into the incident that occurred at the Sooriyawewa Cricket Stadium between cricket fans and the security personnel.
He tweeted”: “Unfortunate incident at Sooriyawewa Cricket Stadium ticket counters. Assaulting spectators and the public is absolutely unacceptable. The Government must conduct an immediate inquiry and take action.”
It was reported that there had been a rush at the ticket counters at the Sooriyawewa stadium and fans who tried to enter the stadium were attacked by the security personnel during yesterday’s match between Sri Lanka and West Indies.

No need for Namal Rajapaksa to make any comments because he himself is a thug in parliament.

I went to the stadium with my online booking after this incident and unaware of it. The ticket counter staff was disorganized, lethargic and they really did not want to issue the tickets in a hurry. Something very fishy happened there.
