This makes a lot of sense. You got our Central Bank Governor fired because he perpetrated the biggest bond scams - yes, blatantly twice - in Sri Lankan history. We willl continue to hound and persecute yours, 2.5 years later. This will not work. Please do the job that you were elected to do. We want jobs, FDI, development and prosperity, at least at the pace that we had before under the previous regime, if you say that there was waste and corruption then. If you can't deliver and you are here to rob, lie and raise taxes like your deputy leader, please go.

Punishing wrongdoers was also one of the major promises this govt was elected to do.

It is amazing how people perceive every politician or politically connected person as tainted in some way. The procession to CID, BC, FCID, PCol and so many commissions by these persons confirm this. No country will prosper when crooks are in charge. We Sri-Lankans will be destined to be buried in the dust heap of the 3rd world while others around us pass us. We only have ourselves to blame.
