The Cabinet has granted permission to
provide space from the land owned by the Colombo Municipal Library premises to install a statue to respect Nelson Mandela, a former President of South Africa.
The Government said state provisions will not be utilised for this purpose.

But the issue is do we have one single parliamentarian who is even a fraction of what Nelson Mandela practiced, his ethics and principles? Absolutely none, other than the northern Tamil Politicians.

A futile exercise! What the hell has Nelson Mandela done for Sri Lanka or Sri Lankans? Just do not waste time and tax payers money on irrelevant work. Build a house for a poor person and if you want name it as Nelson Mandela house.
