Another body of a male suspected to be aged around 40 years old was found on the Galle Face beach this morning.
Police said the body had been sent to National Hospital in Colombo.
The body of 19-year-old youth from Kottawa was also found washed ashore on the Galle Face beach last Friday.

All these floating dead bodies and shootings are causing alarm. Either it’s by someone to scare the public or by someone to bring discredit to the country and make us afraid of the current regime
Roisin Monday, 01 August 2022 10:56 AM
I am already scared for the current regime since they were voted in.

Why shouldn’t you be afraid of the current regime . They’re no different to the previous regime. Actually the majority are the old regime

Why isn't any action taken against this and also against the shootings that are now increasing. Why is it different to catch the killers ?

Not a single statement from the authorities or the government. If they don't find who is behind this, we have to assume it's a work of the government.

It has started, this is typical mafia style that Wickramasinghe and the rajapakse goons follow. They declared Emergency and are arresting people for activities before18th July, then kill a few and deliberately let wash ashore to scare the people not protest against thugs and criminals who are in parliament. Its the same style used by drug Lords in Mexico and South American counties to subdue the people by spreading a wave of terror by fear. I believe the people of Sri Lanka are brave and will accept this challenge and meet these rascals head on. When there is no rule of law, they bribe some in judiciary to carry out there orders against innocent civilians yet protect the thugs and goons. I ask the Chief Justice, what's happening to the case where rajapake and the goons were supposed to be charged for May 09 incidents, why is Deshabandu and Johnston Fernando free? Where is the justice system? How does the BASL allow Emergency Law to be passed when there is no need for it?
