Rehabilitated former LTTE member known ‘Ram’ was arrested by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) yesterday, Police said.
Ram’s wife had complained to the Thirukkovil Police on Sunday stating that her husband was abducted by a group of unknown individuals.
Police said the former LTTE member, who was rehabilitated and reintegrated into society, is been questioned by the TID.

We should not jump into conclusions without knowing the facts. May be some persons who were badly treated when the LTTE were calling the shots had done this for revenge. Anyway the wife seems to have been happy with the Government because it was she who had made the complaint to the police about the abduction.

This shows that war against Tamil is not over. Rehabilitation is a dram to show the world that the government is doing something.

Actually the government of Sri Lanka is trying its best to provoke Tamils and drag them into fighting so it can commit massacre in the name war against terrorism. Tamils should be careful about this

Just be aware! SL will never let any uprisng happen again!Fight against the root cause first to uproot the evil before having any domestic problem! And RAM really is not a individual having no separatist behaviour, misguided by Praba, a victim of time and society. No followers no uprising!

It appears that abductors are yet to be rehabilitated, as they are up to their old trade.

They pretend to be rehabilitated and once out, back to terrorist activities!

Where is Karuna, KP, ltte military intelligence head CIRANGIVI Master, LTTE's International deputy head Nanthakpan ? Are they inside TID's 5 start hotel ?

reason is if nobody knows then can hide the incident and even kill the person.

Old habits die hard. Why cannot the TID follow the standard practice of letting the family know, who they are and where the suspect is being taken etc or they can even accompany local policemen. These acts will at least keep the family not to run here and there that the arrested person is at least safe. Let us come out of the scary white van menace.
