100 policemen given Covishield vaccine

The Oxford Astrazeneca's Covishield vaccine, have been administered to 100 police officers who are engaged in frontline duties in the fight against COVID-19 transmission.

The police officers were jabbed with 'Covishield’ vaccine under the first stage at the Narahenpita Police Hospital in the presence of Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekara.
