Ten suspects including two women were arrested for commemorating the death of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) leader Velupillai Prabhakaran in Kalkudah today.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that an individual was arrested this morning for convening a group of people to commemorate the LTTE in Kalkudah.
He said people are prohibited from commemorating the LTTE.
The suspects were residents of Valachchenai and Kalkudah, would be produced before court tomorrow under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA), DIG Rohana said.(DSB)

Its a mistake allowing people to commemorate LTTE Tigers. Even the name of LTTE should be abandoned and wiped out.
