Well, these are the people who voted in the government. They cant even streamline a system for admission of student. Let's hope "iskolaya" can solve the problem. There certainly seems some racket, as we see so many school vans coming from far away, transporting children to Colombo schools. A check should be made even after the children are admitted to school to check whether the parents are in fact living within the 2 miles radius.

All these is because we do not have a proper policy to admit students to grade .
Due to this lots of political intervention and the principals are puppets to these politicians.
Can new minister introduce a new policy soon at least before 2011 admission?

The parents are setting a great example! This is a sign of utter desperation only to be exacerbated by the country's miserable economic situation which is rapidly declining.
There is no place for decency.

This is not a parents bad habbit. They did what they think as correct. Most of schools, principal as well as powerful teachers get bribes to admit students.
