Over 22,000 students have been selected to Universities island wide based on the Z-score marks which were released today, the University Grants Commission said. The Z-score cutoff marks can be accessed at www.ugc.ac.lk (KB)

why do u need Z score? these young people are selected to uni's to learn how to fight each other... they should be sent to a karate acadamy instead

Instruct them that there should be 'no political' activity whatsoever in the premises and remind them that they are still students, they do not have a 007 license.

Welcome to the wonderful world of free education. Here you can harass, intimidate and torture fellow students in the name of racking, fight with each other and create havoc and mayhem on the streets and annoy public who sponsor your education. Protest and hold placards for selfish, egoistic matters and destroy your parents hopes. How lucky you lot.

Can the government provide at least 5000 jobs per year. Then no alternative but to go abroad after completing the degree. That also they cannot do if they clash. University politics are temporary. After graduated from the university, no more "SAMAJAVADE". University Politics is only a Passion show.

I do hope the minority (Tamil, Muslim, Burger) students are also represented proportionately.
Also, the students of the north have got a fair chance to study after 27 yrs.
