Fonseka suspect in HiCorp

Detained former Army Chief General Sarath Fonseka was today named for the first time as a suspect in the HiCorp case and was ordered to be produced in Court next week.

Fonseka was named as the third suspect in the case by the CID today after which the Colombo Fort Magistrate ordered that he be produced in Court on 23 June.

His son-in-law Dhanuna Thilakaratna is also a suspect in the case which involves illegal arms dealings. (LS)

These are sinister motives. Don't they have any other important work to do?. Why can't they re-activate the bribery commission and take action against top level goons. Their main objective and priority is taking revenge from SF who actually contributed to win the war. As long as Fonseka is harassed he will be in headlines and the worlds interest will be on him and the LTTE will benefit. GOTA, SF and MR will need to be directed to a negotiated settlement by the maha sanga of SL.

I am very proud to be Sri Lankan today as during the last 30 years the only corrupt deal that has taken place in Sri Lanka is being investigated with vigor and venom. The cleanest sinhala Buddist country in the world is Sri Lanka and is an example to the whole world.
