The Colombo trial-at-Bar today formally decided to view the original Derana TV recording of the speech made by former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka on December 24, 2009 at a Presidential Election rally at Ratnapura.

Trial- at- bar Judges Deepali Wijesundera (President), W.P.B.M. Warawewa and M.Z Razeen decided to view the CD formally following submissions made by Deputy Solicitor General (DSG) Buvaneka Aluvihare.

The DSG said the Derana TV had informed him that the original copy of the speech made by Sarath Fonseka and the news telecast were available at Derana TV and the prosecution wishes to produce it as evidence in the case. (TFT, LS)

Earlier if I remember correctly, Derana said the original tape is not available. How come it is now available in the original form? I wonder if this take is Doctored?
