Two killed in train-three-wheeler collision near Kadana



Colombo, June 9 (Daily Mirror) - Two people were killed when a three-wheeler collided with the Muthukumari Express train near the Kadana railway station this morning.

According to railway officials, the Muthukumari Express, which was travelling from Chilaw to Panadura, struck the three-wheeler at a railway crossing near Kadana at around 7.10 a.m.

The train had departed Chilaw at 4.50 a.m.

The two occupants of the three-wheeler died in the collision, officials said.

Further investigations are being conducted into the incident.
