Colombo, April 22 (Daily Mirror) - The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh has announced the introduction of a Special Weekend Consular Services Programme to assist Sri Lankan expatriates in Saudi Arabia who are unable to access services during regular working days.
Under the new arrangement, a duty officer will be available on the last Friday of every month from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. to provide consular assistance to the public.
The Embassy stated that the initiative is aimed at improving accessibility and convenience for the Sri Lankan community residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Embassy also said that while applications will be accepted during the special Friday sessions, services requiring extended processing time will be completed and issued at a later date.
