COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) - Nuseir Yassin, an Arab-Israeli vlogger who creates content under the ‘Nas Daily’ banner, has signed an agreement to promote Sri Lanka Tourism, Tourism Minister Harin Fernando said.
Accordingly, Yassin is expected to create three videos to promote Sri Lanka for tourism and investments.
The Minister said he met 'Nas Daily' on Monday and signed the agreement.
Earlier, Minister Fernando said that a Cabinet nod has been given to create social media content with Yassin, however, under the observation of the Finance Ministry.
Under 'Nas Daily', Yassin will create three videos for Sri Lanka on the themes; ‘Why invest in Sri Lanka?’, ‘The craziest train ride in Sri Lanka' and ‘Waterfalls in Sri Lanka’.
Yassin featured Sri Lanka in his 1,000 video series ‘This is Made of Poop?’ (shedding light on the paper-making process using elephant dung), ‘My Biggest Money Mistake’ (on the economic progress of the country), and ‘The Key Board Warrior’ - (highlighting the life of the late Irfan Hafiz, an author with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy).
In 2020, Yassin made a video on Sri Lanka titled ‘The Most Generous Country During Covid’.

First of all get rid of the mindset in Sri Lanka that all Western tourists are visiting Sri Lanka to have sex and see huge tall buildings. They have it in their own countries. Develop promotions for historical sites and enjoying village life like taking bath in small waterfalls etc for the tourists. Allow only well trained escorts to go with tourists. Keep the thugs away from them

Excellent comment. I went to the “secret waterfall” at Ella. I got a free fish foot massage and climbed to the invisible ( hence secret) waterfall and stood under the cascading water. What a fantastic, sensory experience, that cost nothing. The only rip -off was the three wheeler to get there. These are the money can’t buy experiences that tourists want.

All these promotions on the paper for public consumption ,and image building of the minister but the actual position is that still tourist who comes here face lot of difficulties due to lack of basic facilities when touring the country.

This nass is a crook, birds of feathers flock together. He will be deported from Dubai eventually, for his genocidal support for the Zionist.

Dear Sri Lanka Tourism, You don’t give such things broad publicity. It needs to be seen user generated content. The younger generation like us get put off with commercialized content. Get real and get in tune with how things are done. Don’t try to seek political mileage by trying to be clever. Let Nas Daily do his thing naturally. He is too damn good at it. You guys are just too lousy in how you get publicity out of publicity. #sosrilanka

If you think this Timbuktu V-Logger can promote Sri Lankan tourism we can only imagine the quality of tourists or otherwise known as his low caliber followers. No dignified person is willing to promote a counter full of dishonest rogues. So they hired the next best thing to worst, this mutt !
