Dhamma school teacher exam 2026 application deadline extended

Colombo, April 21 (Daily Mirror) - The Buddhist Affairs Department has extended the application deadline for the 2026 Dhamma School Teacher Certificate Examination.

Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs R. M. G. Senaratne announced that the closing date has been revised from April 20 to April 30.

Applicants can obtain the relevant application forms and instructions via the official website of the Department of Buddhist Affairs, the Dhamma School Division website, as well as through the Dhamma School mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

The Department conducts the examination annually to recognise the contributions of Dhamma School teachers, enhance their knowledge, provide social recognition, and support their professional qualifications, with the broader aim of fostering a morally upright generation.
