Change of Guard as Sanjaya Fernando elected new Referee Boss

Feb.22 (Mirror Sports) - Former Isipathana College and Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club rugby player Sanjaya Fernando was elected as the President of the Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Referees (SLSRFR) in their Annual General Meeting (AGM), which concluded in Maharagama today.
Fernando received 62 votes to Anil Jayasinghe’s 42. SLSRFR Office Bearers 2026/27: President: Sanjaya Fernando Vice President: Priyantha Gunaratne and Priya Suranga Secretary: Thilina Rathnayake Treasurer: Amila Rajakaruna Past Committee Members: Pradeep Fernando and Preethi Kumara Committee Members: Romario De Silva, Rukshani Ariyasena, Denzil Darling and Nuwan Lahiru.
