The Cabinet decided yesterday to present the annual budget for 2019 on March 5, it is learnt.
Ahead of it, the government will present the Appropriation Bill outlining financial allocations to each ministry to Parliament on January 7.
According to the government sources, there will be more allocations for public spending this year. (Kelum Bandara)

Please allocate sufficient amount of funds for Educational and Health sectors, which would definitely be an investment in the longer term.
