The show goes on and corruption running alongside.

At last things are happening. If what SF said can be verified then sack this DIG and other Police officers immediately.

History is being made. For the first time in the last 70 year history of Sri Lanka, Police Officers are to be investigated not by the Police themselves but by an outside agency. In global terms this is a major development.

DIG Lathif is one the best no-nonsense officers we have. SF's behavior is beginning to look more and more suspicious.

Go away! The absurdity of the so called appointed ministers are a huge problem to this country. Leave your egoistic attitudes and let the law do their work. Or better yet, leave this beautiful country alone. We the common masses don’t need you at all.

    Haramanis Saturday, 25 August 2018 01:30 PM

Minister Fonseka appears to be involved with shady underworld characters including drug dealers and murderers - so we have to take theses statements made by the Minister with caution...

    Gune Saturday, 25 August 2018 02:56 PM

Don’t investigate Latiff. Use your time and resources of all politicians who the sole cause of every problem in the country. Be it -drugs, racial issues, murder and stealing. It all starts with them which in turn corrupts the entire system. Latiff is one of those rare good cops who puts his job and the country first before trying to seek political patronage ( not that he ever wants the latter)

I think SF is now burnt out and does not know what he is doing or saying ... best he retires if he can’t accept when bad things are going on . drug menace has reached an all time high and under no circumstances should we sweep it under the counter no matter who is involved so stop trying to defend these people but punish them ... my advice to SF.

    td Saturday, 25 August 2018 06:54 PM

There are no other people in siri lanka talk against STF Chief except fonseka

    Upul Saturday, 25 August 2018 08:33 PM

The law should be equal to everybody. If STF chief or any other chief is wrong, then, it should be investigated. A very good process if done impartially.

    Romeo Saturday, 25 August 2018 07:50 PM

Latheef is one straight forward guy in the police force who does his job and as usual they will stop him too. Such a sad world we live in.

Freddy Yong Sunday, 26 August 2018 01:16 PM

Being the man he is, it's hard to believe that this highly decorated soldier is a man without scruples to associate himself with the underworld, but DIG Lafit is a dubious character and appear to be in the payroll of Dutugemunu Mervin the former 'rajjuruwa' of Kelaniya.

    Haramanis Sunday, 26 August 2018 02:10 PM

Investigate SF' s underworld connections first !!!!

    YEHIYA Sunday, 26 August 2018 05:06 PM

    SF never involved

    Jaliya Monday, 27 August 2018 09:05 AM

Everyone is subjected to criticism let the SIU investigate the chief and the minister both I say ... no wrong doings nothing to worry. What I can say ... as long as you are a pubic servant or a government paid employee you are a thief.
