A Wildlife officer opened fire at a she-elephant in self-defence when the elephant tried to attack a backhoe after it was saved from drowning in an abandoned well at Kombuwaittakulam in Omanthai. However, three separate investigations were launched by the Police, the Wildlife Conservation Department and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife into the incident. Murderers. Those elephants are not seen going on a rampage, they are basically tired, angry and disoriented and were trying to exit on the crane side. The crane driver could have just reversed and the elephants would have gone their way. A highly sinful act of cold blooded murder. But then what can u expect from this countries murderous culture.
