Abans, the authorized reseller and service provider for Apple in Sri Lanka launched the iPhone X yesterday at its flagship store at the Colombo Racecourse.

Abans Deputy Director Dinesh Perera said that the iPhone X takes innovation to new heights with its unique design and perfect functionality.

“We opened our doors to pre-orders beginning of this month and we are excited about the new phone as it has some of the most advanced features that a smartphone could have. That is why Apple iPhones have dominated the markets for the last ten years,” he added.

According to Abans, since the grand unveiling of this ‘smartphone of the future’ at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, Apple’s iPhone X has been referred to as a revolutionary addition to the iPhone family. Triggering an abundance of consumer excitement with its first major redesign in three years, the star feature of this device is undoubtedly the all-screen appearance with a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge OLED Super Retina Display.

By eliminating the home button this phone has given life to the all-new ‘Face ID’ recognition facilitated by the TrueDepth Camera system. The iPhone X also features a dual 12-megapixel rear camera with better aperture than ever before and optical image stabilization to give clear sharp images even in darker ambient lighting conditions.

It has a 7-megapixel TrueDepth front camera that provides portrait mode and wide colour capture with auto stabilization and exposure control to give the customer the best selfies.

The A11 Bionic Chip is designed to be the smartest chip used in an iPhone thus far. It features a six-core CPU design that comprises of two performance cores operating 25 percent faster and four efficiency cores that are 70 percent faster in performance than its predecessor.

It is available in 64GB and 256GB, this breathtaking release comes in two colour variants, space grey and silver both striking a rich and smooth look due to its all-glass finish. Abans has partnered with a number of banks to offer enticing payment plans that span over installment payments up to 52 months and 0 percent interest schemes.
