Consignment of Milch Cows arrives at Hambantota

A consignment of 1,317 head of milch cows imported from Australia arrived in the Magampura port in Hambantota recently. The cows were transported to the Ridiyagama government livestock farm yesterday. The milch cows were imported from Australia by the National Livestock Board to boost milk production in the country,sources said.(By Sanath Gamage)
