A video footage which shows a female military parachutist crashing into high voltage power lines during a training exercise at the Kuda Oya Army Camp has gone viral on social media sites.
The accident took place during the parachute training held on May 1. The female soldier had suffered minor burn injuries when she fell on high voltage power lines.
The footage of the accident shows the parachutist heading straight towards the high voltage lines unable to change her course.
